Law School Admission Personal Statement

Ever since I can recall, my parents have always urged me to work hard for my dreams. They left Honduras with the hopes that I could grow and study in a safer environment so that whatever my professional dreams were could become a reality. Moving to the United States 10 years ago was a challenging experience that makes me grateful. It opened my eyes to other professions I had never thought about as an option. Volunteering in different environments never gave me the satisfaction I get in the law firm practice. For instance, the day my first case was approved, I felt an overwhelming joy of achievement that made me realize I had found the right choice. Although there are many tougher cases, I will always remember the first case I worked on as a milestone. I started working at this office a little after my high school graduation, and at that time in my life, I never thought I would find a passion in a job since I was going to college as an undecided major.
