MBA Admission Essay

Due to the increasing political risks and polarization in Turkey, my family plans to move to the U.S. within the next seven years. This transition requires us to transfer a substantial portion of our assets from Turkey to the U.S. Although this movement is because of the unfortunate circumstances in Turkey, it presents an opportunity to re-deploy the family capital more efficiently. To capitalize on this opportunity, my father and I plan to start a small size investment firm financed by family capital within the next five years. We will rely on Value and Growth investing approaches to manage a diversified portfolio consisting of bonds, real estate, and equities.
